Dear Mr. Van Halen,

I really like your clothes. If you still for some reason own any item in this masterpiece above, I think you should dig it out of your closet and bring it back. So far you are the only man I have seen who’s been able to pull off floral-printed oxfords with stripey socks. This is an incredible feat.

Finally able to post this!

I recently entered WildFox’s artist competition, and somehow mysteriously was one of the winners! They sent me some amazing clothing (the nicest items in my closet now HA!) and featured me on their blog. I am still a bit in shock!! I have never won anything ever before in my life.

Anywho, I did this 80’s-style piece for them and I’m actually really happy with the way it turned out!

Can you imagine an alternate reality where for some reason Michael Jackson became the lead singer of Van Halen after David Lee Roth left? Pretty sure Van Halen would’ve had a very different feel….then again, Dirty Diana from the BAD album could’ve fitted right in.

Part of a thing I’m working on….took me a while to get their designs down, but it always helps to watch Van Halen videos.
