I think it’s more just something that you learn by experimentation and looking at other people’s artwork. This is gonna sound a bit lame and cliche, but my favourite thing to do is when I’m on the bus home, I look up at the sky and try to pick out the colours that make up the gradient, and what kind of mood/atmosphere it creates.
