August 29th 2012; Happy Birthday MJ!
I didn’t end up doing a piece for June this year, so I decided I’d better do one for August - but with a bit of a twist. This is more a personal favourites piece than anything else. Originally I was going to thrown in little bits from other eras, but I figured I’d might as well stick to the things that mattered to me as a fan, as well as my favourite era.
I think I’m kind of sick of staring at this now after working on it for so long, and it’s already August 29th here in Australia so I’m putting this up now rather than tomorrow. In any case, hope Michael’s having a rad awesome day up there. :)
Edit: Just realised the ultimate tie in to this - it’s Michael’s 54th birthday! Studio 54! Yesssss, now this artwork makes sense haha.
