Hey, I just wondered if there was any reason behind the fact that you often don't draw eyes? Sorry to be anon, I don't have a tumblr.
AnonymousIt’s kind of a stylistic choice….sometimes I do have drawings with eyes, but I find it almost lends a “creepy” air to the piece that wasn’t previously there. I don’t know if that sounds a bit contrived or not, haha! I’m very much inspired by Jamie Hewlett/Gorillaz so I think I developed it from that when I was a teenager (with Noodle never revealing her eyes).
