Finally able to post this! I recently entered WildFox’s artist competition, and somehow mysteriously was one of the winners! They sent me some amazing clothing (the nicest items in my closet now HA!) and featured me on their blog. I am still a bit in shock!! I have never won anything ever before in my life. Anywho, I did this 80’s-style piece for them and I’m actually really happy with the way it turned out!

Can you imagine an alternate reality where for some reason Michael Jackson became the lead singer of Van Halen after David Lee Roth left? Pretty sure Van Halen would’ve had a very different feel….then again, Dirty Diana from the BAD album could’ve fitted right in. (I got way too carried away with this, whoops.)

I just came across your tumblr today and I must say that I am beyond impressed by your artwork. You are really an amazing illustrator and it would be dope to actually see your illustrations turn into televised cartoons or something like that. Kudos to you and keep up the good work. Cheers :]

Edit: Sorry just reposting this because I wanted to reblog it, but tumblr is being weird and not letting me reblog myself anymore for some reason. Anyway, I posted it originally at a pretty weird time when nobody was really awake so here it is in normal human hours! Part of a thing I’m working on….took me a while to get their designs down, but it always helps to watch Van Halen videos.
