Nah man, I think you totally got the whole 90’s squiggly lines going on!

I feel like there is a total art to creating the perfect squiggly line and I am so not trained in it.

Completely sick of staring at this now. I was aiming for those really 90’s illustrations where the backgrounds are just all these weird geometric and squiggly shapes, but I sort of ended up in Street Fighter territory mixed with Sailor Moon.

(For some reason tumblr isn’t letting me answer asks, so I’ll have to do it this way for now!) I would love to take requests, but the thing is I have to print these in sets of 20 and over otherwise it’s way too expensive setting up the screens just to print one jumper, haha! But there are heaps of cool websites out there that allow you to upload an image (such as the BAD album cover) and make you a shirt with that on it. The other thing is, I can’t print copyrighted work….only my own illustrations. I hope that answers your question! :)

Jumper update!

I’ll most likely be getting this design printed up; it’s so far the most popular based on the post here on tumblr and one I made over on instagram (jeez, this sounds weird haha!). But as an alternative; does anyone prefer this second one next to it? Or is everyone basically happy with the first image?

Let me know! (And sorry for flooding everyone’s dashes with all this!)

Hey!

It’s a bit of a tricky and expensive process getting these printed…so I’ll be printing them in lots of 20, depending on popularity. At the moment, the most popular design is the Thriller-esque one (number 3) so I’ll be printing that first. If more people are interested in the BAD25, I’ll be printing that next but that may be a few months away….unfortunately I have to get them printed in at least lots of 20, otherwise it’s just way too expensive. :( But hopefully more people will be interested in that design so I can get it printed too!

Most definitely! The jumpers will be 30 dollars each, and for shipping international I’ll have to quote you an individual price (probably around 15 dollars I think). I’m going to put the jumpers up on my Etsy store when I get the first one done, most likely within in a week! :)

Okay, so I’ve gone and spoken with the printer I’m using for the jumpers/shirts and it’s just going to be an absolute nightmare trying to get a big print done all over the garment, and to also do it in a four-colour process (which means getting all the colours exact to the drawings via layering four layers of cyan, magenta, yellow and black). So I’ve gone back and revised the drawings I want to use, dropped them down to simpler designs and tried to keep the feel of them as much as possible while not breaking the bank, haha! This also means I can sell them to you guys at a cheaper price. So this is what I’m going to do; if everybody could reply or send me a message with the design they want to buy/like best, I’ll tally those up and get a prototype made. Once I’ve taken a photo of that prototype so you can all see what it’s going to look like in real life, I’ll be taking orders in a lot of 20, after which I’ll take another vote to the next design people want to see.
